Guduchi or Tinospora Cordifolia is a large, climbing shrub. Guduchi is an important part of the Ayurvedic category of Rasayanas, or rejuvenative tonics. Tinospora Cordifolia (Guduchi, Gulancha Tinospora, Indian Tinospora and Giloy) is a native plant from tropical and subtropical regions of India.
- It is used to improve the immune system and the body's resistance to infections. It is also an effective immuno-stimulant. The plant is also used in dyspepsia, and various types of fever.
- Considered the best herb for clearing the microciculatory system and bodily channel.Its ability to remove exogenous and endogenous toxins.
- The stem is used in dyspepsia, fevers, and urinary diseases. Its principle constituents are tinosporine, tinosporide, tinosporaside, cordifolide, cordifol, heptacosanol, clerodane furano diterpene, diterpenoid furanolactone tinosporidine, columbin and §-sitosterol.
- It is bitter, stomachic, antiperiodic, aphrodisiac. Guduchi is useful in chronic diarrhea, to remove urinary stones (Calculi), as a diuretic, CNS depressant, hypoglycemic, antibacterial, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, antiallergic, analgesic, hepatoprotective, and to reduce blood urea.
- It is used as an immunomodulator in immunosuppression of obstructive jaundice, hepatic fibrosis, peritonitis and sepsis. The plant has been found effective in preventing fibrous changes and promotes regeneration of the liver against hepato toxicity.
- Immunity protection: stem decoction for oral use .Giloy is helpful for countereting infection and promoting rresistance to illiness.
- Diabetes, Urinary problems, early syphilis: the juice is taken in suficient dose.
- Skin disease: taken with neem , haldi and amla the medicine is very effective.
- Gout: oil give with and milk, decoction can also be given .

i have got dried Gudichi sticks bought from Ayurvedic store. can some body plz guide me how to take this? what is the dose?
